[gentoo-embedded] Emerge Bash has Problems linking libgcc.a

Hi,

trying to emerge  app-shells/bash-3.1_p17 encountered an error.

Emerging bash before gcc and binutils were emerged (while emerge
system), worked quite well.

does anybody know why this error occurs now?
