x11-terms/rxvt-unicode with the 'perl' use-flag does the job as well ... you 
only have to put those lines in your ~/.Xdefaults

  URxvt*perl-ext-common: default,mark-urls
  URxvt*urlLauncher: <BROWSER OF YOUR CHOICE>
