Subject: [gentoo-user] OT: emoticon display with Thunderbird
Date: Mon, 22 Apr 2013 14:51:38 +0000 (UTC)	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <loom.20130422T164700-40@post.gmane.org> (raw)

Hello,

I can display the basic emoticons when I receive them
in email via thunderbird.

Many of the newer, more sophisticated emoticons
only show the raw ascii characters. [1]

Fixes for thunderbird (10.0.11) and suggestions are most welcome,
as I cannot upgrade thunderbird at this time.....

tia,
James
