Subject: [gentoo-user] make oldconfig
Date: Mon, 4 Aug 2008 21:04:44 +0000 (UTC)	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <loom.20080804T210307-572@post.gmane.org> (raw)

Hello,

It seems like I remember that 'make oldconfig' is not
needed any more, to pass the current (booted) kernel
option to the .config for building a new kernel.

Of is 'make oldconfig' still a good idea?

James
