This is ok. I had the same ownership and 666 versus 644. It's now 644.

I fix the spell checker as suggested with:

I] app-dicts/myspell-en
     Installed versions:  20060316(07:37:19 05/17/07)

I also set up elog, as suggested. Here is a snip from the very
