The instructions are for a 2.4 kernel, and look almost useless: http://www.linuxmedialabs.com/LMLCD/LMLBT4x/DOC/ Beside with all of the change to video4linux (v4l) and the fact that it requires bttv to be installed, and there is no package for bttv (it's most likely been sucked into a new package/source), I'd appreciated some guidance on how to get this card to do some basic video streaming of the ntsc (black&white) frames to a gentoo (kde) system.... lspci -v reveals: 0000:00:0f.1 Multimedia controller: Brooktree Corporation Bt878 Audio Capture (rev 11) Flags: bus master, medium devsel, latency 32, IRQ 18 Memory at ee800000 (32-bit, prefetchable) Capabilities: [44] Vital Product Data Capabilities: [4c] Power Management version 2 Any help/advise is greatly appreciated.
