Not true. You could fetch the mail from the IMAP server, run it through procmail, and store the sorted/filtered messages back to the IMAP server. Here's a program that does that alsmot that (it runs the mail through SpamAssassin instead of procmail.) http://www.rogerbinns.com/isbg/ IMO, the easiest thing to do would be to use fetchmail to grab mail from the inbox and pass it to procmail. Then you need to find/write a delivery agent that can store messages in a remote IMAP folder.
