I use Gnome on ~amd64 and everything is working fine.<br>I don&#39;t use pulse audio, just alsa. <br><br>I also had those issues with x11-drivers/nvidia-drivers-180.35 as Paul said.<br>Other than that I can&#39;t think of something right now. <br>

</div></div>I had the same problem. In my case it was caused by<br>
x11-drivers/nvidia-drivers-180.35  and changing to a different version<br>
fixed it. Maybe you should check to see if you are using this version,<br>
or try a different version (older/newer)... if you&#39;re not using<br>
nvidia-drviers at all, then I have no idea what to say except &quot;good<br>
luck&quot; :)<br>
