I managed to squeak through a install from the live CD, however, this gave me a kernel with little or no ACPI support - I have a laptop, so I'd like to have this support enabled. However, I don't know how to rebuild the kernel, or do so enabling ACPI support. I only know a few precious things about emerge, like --sync, --search, and even --help, but beyond that I'm not that good at all, and the man pages didn't offer much help for me. I know this is a painfully elementary question, but thanks for any help you can give! ====== Lord Sauron the Great ===== ========== GCv3.12 ========== GCS d-(++) s+: a?
