Hi all

I am really in need of your assistance and knowledge. I am trying to
emerge webmin. emerge starts of by trying to emerge Net-SSLeay which
fails with the following error:

Checking for OpenSSL-0.9.6j or 0.9.7b or newer...
You have OpenSSL-0.9.7e installed in /usr
*** Could not figure out which C compiler was used to compile
/usr/bin/openssl. It is
essentiall that OpenSSL, perl, and Net::SSLeay are compiled with the
same compiler and
flags. Mixing and matching
compilers is not supported. at Makefile.PL line 140.
Checking if your kit is complete...
Looks good
Writing Makefile for Net::SSLeay::Handle

make: *** [Makefile] Error 1

!!! ERROR: dev-perl/Net-SSLeay-1.25 failed.
!!! Function perl-module_src_compile, Line 105, Exitcode 2
!!! compilation failed
!!! If you need support, post the topmost build error, NOT this status message.

I have tried the following:
# perl -MCPAN -e shell

cpan> force install Net::SSLeay

With out any success it throws up the same error as above.
Any ideas? solutions?

Cheers
Rav
