I think eventually I'll just have to make an archive of my home directory and clean-slate install the latest Gentoo distro. There are too many dangling ends from back when - would probably take less time than trying to transition X11 to Xorg, gcc3.3.5 to gcc4, etc etc... -- gentoo-user@gentoo.org mailing list
