Yes, you are trying to install a version of the ffi gem that is not=20 compatible with your ruby version. ffi-0.6.3 is the latest version that=20 reliably works with ruby 1.8. The ffi-1.x series never worked reliably=20 with ruby 1.8, and the latest version have officially removed support for= =20 it and only work with ruby 1.9. This is also the reason that ffi-0.6.3 is= =20 the latest version in the tree. Kind regards, Hans
