Subject: [gentoo-user] Limit Memory Used By Portage/Firefox Build Causes OOM
Date: Sun, 21 Jun 2020 18:02:22 -0500 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <a9855962-b11b-4259-8a29-ce24a35b48bf@www.fastmail.com> (raw)
Is there any way to limit the memory used by portage? I am
suspecting setting a climit on the portage user is the easiest way.
My immediate issue is cargo seems to ignore MAKEOPTS. Cargo
also seems to select build parallelism itself.
