I'm not that up on Tbird. I used it briefly a long time ago on another Gentoo box but didn't like it so I went to Pine and I did not use encryption either. The only other install has been on a windows box that I used when both my Gentoo boxes were dead. When I get my main box back up I intend to use Tbird.
