Make sure of two things:

1. At /etc/conf.d/net, you add the "-d" to the line

wpa_supplicant_wlan0="<whatever> -d"

2. That you start the net.wlan0 service as

/etc/init.d/net.wlan0 --verbose start

Optionally, you can also run

tail -f /var/log/everything/current &

prior to starting the service, for extra output.

Cheers!!!

I already have wpa_supplicant_ath0="-dddd -Dmadwifi"

That doesn't seem to make any difference. I still get;
Added interface ath0
Daemonize..
[ ok ]
 *   Starting wpa_cli on ath0 ...
[ ok ]
 *     Backgrounding ...

I don't seem to have that file, and I only get hardware related stuff in
my messages file.

Any other ideas? The ath0 interface also starts itself automatically,
even though I havent set that up with rc-update.

Cheers,
Adam
