Hi All,

I would like to try out other solutions than grive to sync my Google
Drive repository on my machine. I found Isync as an alternative, but
it is not in the portage neither the available layman repositories.
After a little search I found this [1].

Does anybody have any experience with it?
Can I use this repo as layman repository? If so how?

I appreciate your help!

András

Did you read the README in the root of that overlay?

Ooopssss...! :)
Thanks for emphasizing that! The question is that why I did not
remember the fact that somewhere there is a documentation. :)

FWIW, running "eix -l insync"
gives me this:

* app-backup/insync [1]

       ~    0.9.41	[gnome kde]
     Homepage:            https://www.insynchq.com/

* app-backup/insync-bin [1]
     Available versions:
       ~ 0.9.40	[cinnamon gnome kde mate unity xfce]
       ~ 0.9.41	[cinnamon gnome kde mate unity xfce]
     Homepage:            https://www.insynchq.com/

[1] "amielke-overlay" layman/amielke-overlay

Found 2 matches.

That's my overlay, sorry for not having it as part of the official
layman list - I have some "personal preference" patches on some packages
that I should rework as USE flags first.

Hi Mark,

First of all, thanks for creating this ebuild! I really appreciate
your job! It was my bad not to looking for the documentation. On the
other hand, it is your choice being part of the "official" list or
not. I think we are part of the open source world and every individual
has the right making decisions. You has decided so, I should/have to
live with it. :)
