Also, are _very_ old archives available anywhere anymore? I started
using Gentoo way in the dark ages... late 2002, early 2003 maybe? I
certainly remember the 2004.0 release - still have a CD I think. I was
looking around for a source of some very old emails of mine to the
list. Are they all just gone at this point?

Apparently, I didn't scroll down far enough to see the by-year links
in blog view. I was looking at the page counts.

Curiously, the blog view works *further* back than the frame/thread
view; there's several hundred "pages" in the frame/thread view that
don't work.

Totally cool though. I don't think I found my earliest posts, but they
were certainly in the learning stages where I clearly didn't know the
difference between emerge -e and emerge -u. I got some pointy fingers
poked in my side by spider for that. :-)

At least this will allow me to figure out the names of a couple of
folks I was thinking about this last weekend.

Yeah, me and Volker both filed bugs last year. They kept getting
marked as dupes and folded into some general backend madness.
