Hello,

I am trying to install wine on gentoo but I encounter strange things.

I do :
emerge -va wine

So I than installed zlib with:

echo "sys-libs/zlib **" >> /etc/portage/package.keywords
&
emerge -va zlib

These are the packages that would be merged, in order:

ABI_X86="(64) -32 (-x32)" 0 KiB

Total: 1 package (1 reinstall), Size of downloads: 0 KiB

* IMPORTANT: 12 news items need reading for repository 'gentoo'.

========

It seems to install OK, without errors, but on doing again

emerge -va wine
I get the same failures and still complians about zlib.
I am doing it all as root.

Does anyone have any idea ?

Regards,
Ran
