[gentoo-user] Getting back new config files

Hi,

Quite a lot of times there are config updates to be performed using
dispatch-conf.
Suppose I discard a config by mistake while updating one but I know
which package it belongs to.
How do I get the new configuration back? Remerging the package doesn't
seem to solve the problem.

I'm using paludis.

emerge has the --noconfmem to deal with this. I don't use paludis but
expect it has something similar.
