Subject [gentoo-user] hplip and python3.12 problem

Hello all,

I migrated python from 3.11 to 3.12 following the instructions without any problem and i arrived to
*/* PYTHON_TARGETS: -* python3_12
*/* PYTHON_SINGLE_TARGET: -* python3_12
in package.use.

Yesterday, everything was fine and this morning, problem with hplip package.

with emerge -av hplip, i get this :

!!! The ebuild selected to satisfy "hplip" has unmet requirements.
- net-print/hplip-3.23.12-r3::gentoo USE="X hpcups libnotify policykit qt5 scanner snmp -doc -fax -hpijs -kde -libusb0 -minimal -parport -static-ppds" ABI_X86="(64)" PYTHON_SINGLE_TARGET="python3_11 python3_12 -python3_10"
 The following REQUIRED_USE flag constraints are unsatisfied:
    exactly-one-of ( python_single_target_python3_10 python_single_target_python3_11 python_single_target_python3_12 )

PYTHON_SINGLE_TARGET has both python3_11 and python3_12 enabled.
Since this does not match the global setting, my bet is on a forgotten
setting for hplip somewhere under /etc/portage.

What does
    grep -R hplip /etc/portage
show?

Yes, i tried that, but no success....
I think there is a bug with the hplip upgrade : https://bugs.gentoo.org/932150

grep -R hplip /etc/portage
/etc/portage/package.license/custom:27:net-print/hplip-plugin hplip-plugin
/etc/portage/package.use/use:69:=net-print/hplip-3.23.12-r1 scanner python_single_target_python3_11

The problem comes from the hplip-3.23.12-r3 upgrade. (bug : https://bugs.gentoo.org/932150)
So, i masked hplip-3.23.12-r3 to stay with hplip-3.23.12-r1

After emerge --sync, my package.use :

=app-emulation/virtualbox-7.0.18-r1 python_single_target_python3_11
=dev-python/setuptools-70.0.0 python_targets_python3_11
=media-sound/soundconverter-4.0.3 python_single_target_python3_11
=net-print/hplip-3.23.12-r1 scanner python_single_target_python3_11
=sci-libs/nlopt-2.7.1-r2 python_targets_python3_11

Now, it works but for how long with next sync ?

Thanks a lot to all of you,

Cheers,
