Do you also use "vim" from time to time?

Because it is also able to compare two (or more?) files, similiar to 
"sdiff":

    $ vi -d file1 file2

or:

    $ vi file1
    :diffthis
    :vsplit
    CTRL+w + right arrow key
    :e file2
    :diffthis
