Adobe-flash becomes quite slow in my laptop after I updated world(or maybe = I reconfigured kernel options) several days ago. I've made a lot of mod= ifications, so I'm not sure exactly which action leads to the malfuncti= on of adobe-flash.

I use the latest stable version of adobe-flash(10.2.153.1), nvidia(260.19.3= 6).

What you guys know what factors are affecting the performance of adobe-flas= h?

Here's the recent main modifications to my system:
1. (/etc/make.conf) change CFLAGS and CXXFLAGS from "-O2 -march=3Di686= -pipe" to "-O2 -march=3Dnative -fomit-frame-pointer -pipe"<= br> 2. change the *Preemption Model" in the kernel config from "Volun= tary Kernel Preemption" to "Preemptible Kernel"
3. excluded SMT scheduler support in the kernel config(my CPU doesn't s= upport hyper-threading)
4. I tried the latest 2.6.38 gentoo-sources, and roll back to 2.6.36-r8

Make sure you are using the nvidia proprietary libraries:

$eselect opengl list
Available OpenGL implementations:
=A0[1] =A0 nvidia * =A0 <---------- this one
=A0[2] =A0 xorg-x11
