Oops! I could access it, but of course I had to try it as root! Right, I've
got it on my hard drive now, but still cannot mount it:

# mount -t vfat /dev/loop2 /tmp/r1
mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/loop2,
missing codepage or other error
In some cases useful info is found in syslog - try
dmesg | tail or so
