Huh, reiserfs doesn't do this. It only logs metadata updates.

Cannot be done. They only log metadata.

->Watchdog Cards
->Watchdog Timer Support
->Software watchdog
You might also turn on the Magic SysRq stuff so you can do
"Alt-SysRq-s" to sync,
"Alt-SysRq-u" to remount everything read-only, and "Alt-SysRq-b" to
reboot the PC.
