The 64 bit packages are
dev-libs/nss
dev-libs/nspr
gnome-base/gconf
None of which are in emul-linux-x86 packages :-(
Luckily, http://www.gentoo.org/proj/en/base/amd64/emul/
describes how to build them. It's a deprecated guide, but looks workable.
So here goes...
