The latest ebuild of this library fails for me. I'm not sure what to do,
or even if this is the right place to post the info. So I'm wondering what I
should do next.

The emerge output contains a lot of unusual stuff that looks like source
code. I don't
generally see such stuff.
The tail end looks like this:

make[3]: Nothing to be done for `install-exec-am'.
/bin/install -c -d -m 0755 /var/tmp/portage/libgphoto2-2.1.6
/image//usr/share/doc/libgphoto2_port/html/api/gphoto2-port
/bin/install -c -m 644 ./html/*.html /var/tmp/portage/libgphoto2-2.1.6
/image//usr/share/doc/libgphoto2_port/html/api/gphoto2-port
/bin/install: cannot stat `./html/*.html': No such file or directory

!!! If you need support, post the topmost build error, NOT this status
message.
