As I understand sun-jdk-1.6.0.01 is a binary package, and java works just fine if downloaded and installed from Sun site, without portage. Since I don't have enough disk spac fro another gcc, is it possible to somehow let portage handle sun-jdk, but without additional gcc and libstdc++?
