See that * in your command, that's going to be expanded by your shell to
the name of every (non-"hidden") file in the current directory, unless
there aren't any.

It's easy to catch if you actually understand how the POSIX shell works.
(Hint: /very/ different from MS Windows's cmd.exe)

Only if you see it... hehe. That one got right by me and I've used
posix shells for many years. (Probably shouldn't have admitted that
given the basic nature of my ..`error'.
