By the way I did try downloading the sources from: http://www.mplayerhq.hu/design7/dload.html Renaming the downloaded tarball to file to /usr/portage/distfiles/mplayer-1.0_rc4_p20090919-r1 emerge appears to ignore it completely but It must be running a md5 or something. ... Anyway emerge just goes on and tries to find it quite a few places. Anyone know where this file can be had currently?
