But when I specifically tried emerge --depclean xf86-input-keyboard emerge --depclean xf86-video-nv They were found and now they are gone (so this explains why I found the nv driver to delete manually). Anyway I depcleaned the unneeded drivers and now eix -I xf86- shows only evdev and nouveau as desired. However the problem remains (screensaver shows time and won't go away).
