Is there a way to send a pop-up message to Windows user from Linux?

The below command works but from Windows to Windows:
msg fd /server:fd-server "Your message here"

but I need it to work from Linux.

I tried:
smbclient -M fd\%5d2f0of -I 10.0.0.137
Connection to fd%522002fd failed. Error NT_STATUS_RESOURCE_NAME_NOT_FOUND

$ net send fd "Your message here"
Invalid command: net send
