Ralph Seichter Hi, it seems to be a problem with the driver on the Gentoo LiveCD. I would pr= opose to try an other LiveCD for example Knoppix or if you still have any= other Linux distribution (you mentioned OpenSUSE) on this machine, where= the network interface works boot it and use it to install Gentoo.
