You unmasked KDE on your own machine... now in the main tree KDE 3 is no longer masked, but KDE 4 is available (so your machine thinks you wanted it unmasked). I would try removing *everything* KDE-related from /etc/ portage/package* & trying `emerge -pv world` again. Stroller.
