Keep reading, and you'll know why. Personally, I find the find plugin of emelFM2 very nice and attractive. Essentially, it is a GUI combining grep / find / etc. It also provides a plugin on tracker. For a find / locate frontend (not mentioning doodle, tracker, beagle, strigi and pinot), look at catfish . Still young, but looking promising. -- Liviu ------=_Part_782_26545262.1188659647935 Content-Type: text/html; charset=UTF-8 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Disposition: inline

Personally, I find the find plugin of emelFM2 very nice and attractive. Essentially, it is a GUI combining grep / find / etc. It also provides a plugin on tracker.

For a find / locate frontend (not mentioning doodle, tracker, beagle, strigi and pinot), look at catfish. Still young, but looking promising.
