If you must have an argument, start a new thread or take it off list. It's perfectly fine for someone to criticize genkernel, or portage, or a hammer, or a car, or any other tool. It's also fine if you disagree with their criticisms, that's what's so great about a diverse community like gentoo; so many viewpoints. Daniels reply to your post is well said, and a perfectly valid objection to Volker's crticism, words like "hate" "drivel" "FUD" and such are *not*. The authors deserve intelligent feedback on their creations, which can be negative, but not inflammatory.
