OK, the emerge -DuN world finished up and said everything was good. I
then ran revdep-rebuild and have a list of things that need to be
rebuilt. One has failed - dev-libs/apr-util.

checking gdbm.h presence... yes
checking for gdbm.h... yes
checking for gdbm_open in -lgdbm... yes
configure: error: Berkeley DB not found.

However when I look at emerging apr-util by itself with the deep
command it doesn't seem that it would fix this:

Sector9 ~ # emerge -pvD apr-util

These are the packages that would be merged, in order:

Calculating dependencies... done!
[ebuild R ] dev-libs/apr-util-1.2.8 USE="berkdb gdbm ldap
-postgres -sqlite -sqlite3" 0 kB

Total: 1 package (1 reinstall), Size of downloads: 0 kB
Sector9 ~ #

I'm wondering what package should supply berkdb and why this ebuild
doesn't force that package to get installed?

Sector9 ~ # eix berkdb
No matches found.
Sector9 ~ #

Continuing on with revdep-rebuild.

Thanks,
Mark
