I have Core 2 E6600 overclocked 25%, using /dev/shm for portage tmpdir
and kdelibs4 compiles in about 20 minutes, give or take a couple
minutes depending on system load.

My last openoffice emerge was 1 hour 34 minutes. My last
openoffice-bin emerge was 29 seconds. :)
