Well, some breakage because until > revdep rebuilt all the packages affected, everything using jpegs (and that > is... a lot) didn't work ;) In my gentoo, portage upgraded to jpeg-7 and added jpeg-compat-6b at the same time. Nothing had to be rebuilt and everything "seems" to be working okay so far.
