To Khattri's point, however, there is nothing wrong with Apache. I have run MANY Apache servers and have never had any showstopper issues. I have also read about and implemented many of the major features of Apache in many production environments which also helps. Again to Khattri's point RTFM it really does help. In any case if you would like to send me all your config files for Apache (the main httpd.conf and all the included files) off the list I will poke about through them and see if I can offer any other advice. If you don't wish to do that then I would suggest you start with a nice clean Apache (stock config files) and try your webapp install again. Don't over customize from the beginning, take it slow, make it work in baby steps, then go crazy!
