# rm -rfv /
rm: it is dangerous to operate recursively on ‘/’
rm: use --no-preserve-root to override this failsafe
# rm -rfv --no-preserve-root /
** deletes lots of stuff**
** cannot delete in /proc **
** cannot delete in /sys **
** deletes more stuff **
** finshed with status 0 **
System broken :-) Don't worry, it was only a virtual machine.
