Pardon my english > 1) You didn't specify where you want your user to auto login . 1.1) If you mean to auto log into console mode, then there is a way with = mingetty. You have to add a line into your "/etc/inittab" file: -------- 1:12345:respawn:/sbin/mingetty --noclear --autologin USERNAME tty1 -------- Of course you have to do "emerge mingetty" before that. 1.2.)
