Could you try to mount device with "sync" option ?


It's strange, your lspci show you have uhci usb controller
and lspci -v said you have ohci controller ...

do  you have a usb2 pci card ?

if yes, you will need ohci + uhci to support usb and ehci for usb 2

try your device on each one (mothercard usb, and pci usb)

try with sync option (slower, but safer :) )
