What are your kernel version ? (uname -a)
What are your kernel package ? (gentoo-sources ???)

So perhaps a bug with a kernel you install recently

I have so hardware, that bug awfully with certain version of kernel, and do
hang up after a mount ...

so perhaps search in this way
