Searching bgo for "gcc" is just painful, so I added the error you posted
to the search string:
gcc Bootstrap comparison failure!
Often times the searchstring makes all the difference and searchstrings
are an advanced technology therefore indistinguishable from magic. If
they were easy and not magic-like, they would be insufficiently advanced
for our needs (with apologies to a certain mr Clarke)
