Looks > strange to me too. I gave up for now. Re-added SSD, MBR-partitioned. The BIOS in the HP Elite 7300 only boots via BIOS if there is at least one disk MBR-partitioned in there (with active boot-flag, I assume). This EFI-stuff has to wait for times when I have more energy for this, I got work to do as well ;-) Thanks all, Stefan
