To throw my two cents in here, I'd like etc-update to use vimdiff, which is another front-end to diff, and much more intuitive to me. However, doing so would probably enrage emacs users, who, presumably, have a front-end to diff from emacs as well; so maybe an option for vimdiff or emacs-diff -- I bet either would be better than the current script. --David -- gentoo-user@gentoo.org mailing list
