Hello,

The Gentoo udev guide (http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/udev-guide.xml) says
specifically to make sure that:

'General setup --->
  [*] Support for hot-pluggable devices'

is enabled, but I didn't have this option available (the others were
already enabled) when I did 'make menuconfig'.

I did find it (or one named the same) under:

'Configure standard kernel features (for small systems) --->'

But when that is enabled, 'Namespaces support' is automatically disabled.

So, which do I want? Is the udev guide outdated and/or did this change
for newer kernels?

Thanks,
