I believe I have it set up as per the information you've given so far,
but it's not working.

The following is my /etc/munin/munin.conf minus comments:
dbdir /var/lib/munin
htmldir /var/www/admin.apserver.co.uk/htdocs/munin
logdir /var/log/munin
rundir /var/run/munin

tmpldir /etc/munin/templates

[apserver.co.uk]
     address 127.0.0.1
     use_node_name no

[server2.bigjigs.co.uk]
     address 81.136.133.40
     use_node_name yes

The following is the logs relating to the bigjigs entry:
May 05 13:46:01 [27183] - [ERROR] Could not connect to
server2.bigjigs.co.uk(81.136.133.40): Bad file descriptor - Attempting
to use old configuration

May 05 13:46:01 [27182] - Munin-update finished (60.07 sec)

Thanks to those who notified me of this erroneous posting. Obviously the
passwords have now been changed.

I have absolutely no idea why Thunderbird decided to send that mail to
the gentoo-user list. Perhaps it's time I changed my preferred email client!
