Since I have nvidia in mine and it works fine, thought he may want to try that. What I posted is not wrong, just another way of doing it. Up to him if he wants to try it or not. Also, nv does not work well for me either. It is dreadfully slow and uses a lot of CPU time. At least that is how it was the last time I used it. Things change. Dale :-) :-)
