Don't forget to subscribe to gentoo-announce and gentoo-server
mailinglists. And off course is Gentoo suited for server! One of the
largest Dutch social networking sites (hyves.nl) uses Gentoo Linux for
it's servers, here are the specs:

Hyves.nl servers:

450 64-bits Linux servers (Gentoo)
35 miljoen pageviews per day
